NFL fans were saying the same thing over a viral clip of Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams looking sad and defeated on the sidelines.

Caleb Williams’ Bears were no match for a desperate San Francisco 49ers team, losing 38-13 in a humiliating beatdown at Levi’s Stadium. The first-overall pick completed just 17 of 23 pass attempts for 134 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while taking seven sacks.

With the 49ers up 18 points in the third quarter, the FOX cameras shared a clip of Williams looking dejected and disappointed on the sidelines:

Caleb Williams Has Been A Bright Spot For Dysfunctional Bears
The dysfunctional Bears fired head coach Matt Eberflus after their Thanksgiving loss to the Detroit Lions. But as we saw in Sunday’s loss to the 49ers, a coaching change alone isn’t going to fix this unit.

Williams has had a superb rookie year, considering the inept coaching and atrocious offensive line in front of him. He has 16 touchdowns and only five interceptions, and you can only wonder how much better Williams will get if the Bears pair him with the right coach.
