New Details Emerge After Wild Theory Linked Tom Brady To Michigan’s Cheating Scandal

Tom Brady has been cleared of wrongdoing in the ongoing Michigan sign-stealing saga, and it’s ridiculous that he even had to be.

A wild conspiracy theory surfaced in the wake of news revealing a Michigan booster going by the name of “Uncle T” helped fund the illicit scouting operation undertaken by former program analyst Connor Stalions.

Given that the University of Michigan is Brady’s alma mater and his name starts with “T,” rumors suggested he could be the so-far unidentified booster. Dan Wetzel and Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports have debunked the story, reporting that Brady is not the individual in question.

So no, Brady is not in any trouble, at least not where the Michigan Wolverines are concerned.

The former star quarterback has been enjoying retirement, though his name will pop up in return speculation every few weeks. With two starting quarterbacks – Deshaun Watson and Joe Burrow – getting ruled out for the rest of the season this week, he’s probably going to be back in the news over the weekend.

As for Michigan, it appears they’re in quite a spot right now. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has been suspended by the Big Ten for three games while the program has fired one of its coaches following the receipt of this new information.
