Former NFL and MLB star Bo Jackson no longer watches football.

Jackson, an iconic two-sport athlete who was a top running back in the NFL and a stud in the MLB, is one of the most renowned sports figures ever. The former Heisman Trophy winner terrified defenses in the pros from 1987-1990, also playing baseball from 1986-1994.

He is the only athlete in American sports history to be an All-Star in two different professional sports out of the four major leagues, having made the Pro Bowl in 1990 and the All-Star game in 1989.

Despite leaving an indelible mark on the game of football, Bo refuses to watch it nowadays.

Jackson revealed as much while speaking to Marshawn Lynch and Michael Robinson on the ‘Go Get Pod,’ explaining his reasons for ditching the gridiron as a spectator activity.

“It’s like this – if you know how to do something, and you did it right, that was my job. I know I did my job right. I did my job to the best of my ability,” he said. “I don’t need to watch somebody else do my job, or do what I used to do as a job.”

Jackson also intimated that the game has become a bit extra due to excessive celebrating, claiming he’d rather not have to watch a dance contest.

“Besides, for me, right now, and I can’t take nothing from these young cats playing, but I’d rather watch football,” he continued. “I don’t need to see a dance contest. I don’t need to see a celebration. I don’t need to see that, dude.”
