The A-lister was seen puffing on a cigarette in between takes as he had make-up on his face to resemble bruises.
Ben was hard at work as he donned a charcoal grey T-shirt with a massive sweat ring around his neck down to his chest.
He also sported a pair of relaxed fit blue jeans along with a black watch.
His hair was buzzed as he sported a bushy beard for the role.

The film was written by and will be directed by Joe Carnahan who is best known for his work on 2006 film Smokin’ Aces.
This comes just days after it was reported that his ex is ready to ‘start the new year fresh’ following their ‘rough’ split.
The On The Floor songstress, 55 – who was recently spotted house hunting in Los Angeles last week – notably filed for divorce from the Oscar winner, 52, back in August on their second wedding anniversary.
A source told People in an article published on Friday that the actress is aiming to put the end of her marriage behind her and move forward in 2025.
The insider explained that Lopez is ‘focused on her own life’ and added, ‘She has had a rough year but is doing well. She’s ready for Christmas and to start the new year fresh.’
